Kinsa
The makers of the first app-enabled “smart” thermometer were on a mission to change the world, tracking and stopping the spread of contagious disease. Doctors and experts were impressed, but Kinsa's target audience -- parents -- were largely unaware.
Alkali honed Kinsa’s voice, created engaging videos to explain the product, launched a program that placed Kinsa thermometers in schools nationwide, and helped build the right internal team for future growth.
AltSchool
AltSchool is re-imagining education through collaborative micro-schools that use outstanding teachers, deep research, and innovative tools to offer a personalized, whole child learning experience for the next generation.
Alkali helped the business grow from one classroom of 14 students to eight schools with over 500 students nationwide. Alkali also helped AltSchool find its voice, announce a large round of funding, and ultimately, hire a full-time Director of Marketing.
Wisegate
Wisegate is an invitation-only collaboration service for IT leaders. Part knowledge community and part analyst firm, Wisegate fills a need at the fraction of the cost of traditional services. But to succeed, Wisegate must never be perceived as a discount option.
Alkali developed Wisegate's positioning and voice as an exclusive, valuable service that is affordable for smaller businesses. We continue to contribute web, campaign and event copy.
The Mrs.
They were interested in launching not as a "girl band" but as a movement. Alkali developed their message through “I’m Enough,” a rock anthem for women who were constantly striving to serve others and as a result, were losing sight of who they were inside.
Alkali launched “I’m Enough” with a video that touched women, trended nationally on Twitter, and went viral, garnering millions of views in a matter of weeks and landing the band on Good Morning America.
Ignite Technologies
When Ignite Technologies was acquired under new management, the executive team didn’t only want to breathe new life into the company; they wanted to quickly grow Ignite through acquisitions of complimentary enterprise software businesses.
Alkali created a new Ignite brand to build credibility and trust while seamlessly integrating new corporate offerings, and developed high impact/low touch programs for customer engagement.
